Vigilant Medical has undergone an extensive privacy and security audit in 2018 from a 3rd party organization to comply with the strict demands of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. This audit confirmed that patient data transferred into and out of ImageShare was properly secured with a high level of encryption.
